UFC 283 will be the UFC’s new Saturday opponent.
In an interview with SuperBook Sports, ‘Robocop’ revealed that Brad Tavares (his original opponent) had to pull out of their fight due to injury. Brunno Ferreira is the new promotional recruit, taking over on short notice after a highly successful Contender Series appearance in September.

Rodrigues has a record of 4-1 in Octagon. His only loss was to Armen Petrosyan in UFC Vegas 49, in February. One-time Legacy Fighting Alliance champion (LFA), Rodrigues rebounded from his defeat with brutal KOs by Julian Marquez, Chidi Najokuani and UFC Vegas 60. The latter left him with one the most severe cuts in mixed martial arts history.
Ferreira was undefeated in professional fighting and earned a UFC contract after finishing Leon Aliu with a first-round knockout. This was the seventh straight win for the “Hulk.”
UFC 283 will take place at Rio de Janeiro’s Jeunesse Arena on Saturday, January 21st, Brazil. Glover Texeira and Jamahal will be fighting for UFC’s vacant light heavyweight title.
