Morning Report by Daniel Cormier: There is no doubt that Dana White is wrong about her altercation with his wife

Dana White’s 2023 started in less than ideal fashion.

Shortly after the beginning of the New Year, an unidentified video showed Anne White, UFC President, and her husband, in Cabo San Lucas nightclub, Mexico. White, who was dancing with his wife during their vacation turned sour when he received a slap from his husband and then retaliated with others. The couple were eventually separated. White spoke out about his actions with TMZ, and offered no explanations.

White did not defend what happened during his trip. However, many others in the MMA community — fighters and fans — have backed him. Daniel Cormier, former champion of dual divisions in UFC, doesn’t get why.

Cormier stated that Dana White had been wrong. DC & RC. He said he wasn’t right. Since childhood, we have been taught that women aren’t supposed to be in our lives. Dana White has stated that he is not allowed to touch women.

But here is the problem. When you are faced with these situations, think first about the White family and their children. And if the White kids will make it through. Dana isn’t making excuses for his actions. He is being defended by some fighters. He doesn’t defend himself. He doesn’t defend himself. It’s obvious to everyone that this is wrong.

White’s actions have not been reacted to other than the Power Slap League’s TBS launch delay of one week (Jan. 11-18). White has remained quiet after the incident, except for posing UFC promotional videos this week at UFC Vegas 67 and his weekly social media “F*** It Friday” series in which he eats unusual foods in UFC P.I. kitchen.

California Legislative Women’s Caucus sent Ari Emmanuel a letter requesting that White be removed as UFC President. The incident also caused Endeavor stock prices to drop six percent.

Cormier stated, “It’s the next step for me.” How does Dana White help these people? He must lead efforts to make this a better world. All these types of violence, domestic violence. This is the real question.

“It’s no debate. We can’t just sit here and argue for 10 minutes whether it was correct or wrong. There’s no debate. All are on the same page. It’s not right, he said, it’s incorrect, you and I both know that it is wrong, and the entire world agrees it is wrong. What happens next is the truth. What can Dana do to help this problem move forward? That’s my view.
