Davante Adams, the wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, confirmed today’s reporting that he wants to return as long as the Raiders have a quarterback capable of getting him the ball.
HENDERSON (Nev.) – The Las Vegas Raiders have a dismal record of 6-10 and will face the Kansas City Chiefs, a perennial NFL power and AFC West rival, this weekend.
With only one remaining game, the Silver and Black are out of the playoff picture. All eyes now turn to the long-awaited off-season.
Many speculate that Davante Adams might want to leave after Derek Carr’s departure as quarterback. Many do not cover your coverage. According to multiple reports, Raiders headquarters believes that Davante Adam, given the opportunity, would remain in the Silver and Black, even if he was a successful quarterback.
Adams was kind enough to meet me today and ask him: If the Raiders have made him a successful quarterback by 2023, would he like to remain? He confirmed my report.

Q: Although I understand that the team will make some decisions in off-season, but they can still get you a quarterback you trust to get you a football. Would you like to be back next year as a Raider?
Adams: “Yeah, absolutely. “I mean, like I said. [Carr] He wasn’t there, but that doesn’t mean I will not be present in his absence. This is my boy. I was there for him through everything. That’s all I can say at the moment. I believe I have made it more clear than ever. I also support his efforts to move forward. My dream was to be a Raider before I was. At this moment, I just want to try and make it work. I also want to continue doing what I do here to get better.
On Saturday, January 7, the Raiders will play the Kansas City Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium. Kickoff is at 1:30 PM PST/4.30 PM PST. You can watch it on ABC and ESPN.
