Ooi Kee Liang, CEO of Ideal Property Group contributed to the Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Nibong campus for support of school’s sporting day.
Ideal Property Group generously donated funds to support the school’s annual sports day. SK Sungai Nibong, a primary school on Penang Island in Malaysia is a National Primary School. On November 14, a mock cheque presentation took place at the Ideal Property Group gallery. Students were encouraged to put effort and participation first, instead of focusing on winning and losing.
Ooi Kee, the Group Executive Chairman, stated that all enterprises should actively contribute to society and meet their corporate social responsibility, which will lead to healthy and happy communities. We believe more students will be able to develop their love of education and teamwork through the celebrations of sports.
This contribution was part of Ideal Property Group’s educational aid program “I Love Edu”, which promotes education via monetary donations, facility construction and upgrades as well as land donations for campus relocation. SMJK Heng Ee and SJKC Heng Ee are just a few of the schools to have benefited from the program.
Tan Sri Datuk Ooi Kee Liang, who pioneered the creation of Ideal Property Group in 2001, whose primary focus was to give back to society and place great concern on society’s well-being as a whole. Liang is responsible for the creation of over 25,000 commercial and residential units on Penang Island. Liang is known for his dedication to affordable condos and high-quality condominiums.
